A tour of the 2.5 MW, 17 acre solar site in Hammond, Wisconsin in collaboration with OneEnergy Renewables. This will be a short discussion and walkthrough of a small solar project to see and learn about the practicalities of solar installations and vegetation management.
This size of project falls under the purview of local control and represents a smaller scale of solar generation with local buy-in. We will hear from project developer, OneEnergy Renewables about the model and vegetation management. We will also hear from the utility, St. Croix Electric Cooperative on how this site was chosen and how the utility interacts with it.
