Join us for a Graze River Country pasture walk at Ashly and Stacy Steinke's Sedge Wood Farms near Cornell. Come see the Steinkes' beautiful British White cattle and see first-hand how they've married conservation with farming. The Steinkes utilize direct marketing and raise yearlings from a few other farms to grass-finish. They also partner with a local producer to grow row crops utilizing no-till techniques and cover crops. Every management decision made on the farm considers economic, social, and environmental impact. At this walk, we'll also celebrate River Country RC&D's Annual Picnic.
