NorthEast Spring Into Conservation! Kickoff

Virtual
Wednesday, March 3, 2021 (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) (CST)
Event Details

Are you a Wisconsin woman farmer or landowner in Marathon, Portage, Shawano and surround counties interested in learning more about implementing conservation practices on your land?

Join this virtual event and:

  • Meet other women passionate about conservation
  • Learn about building healthy soil
  • Collaboratively steward our land for future generations
  • Connect with NRCS staff and resources

These sessions are free and open to all women, whether you are beginning your conservation journey or have been doing this for years. They are intended to be a safe space to share our stories, connect and learn from each other about soil health, conservation opportunities and challenges.  If you do not live in these three counties you are still welcome to join this virtual event!

Each session will be unique and cover different content related to conservation and soil health. We encourage you to attend both sessions, but if you can make it to just one, that’s totally fine.

While the session targets this geographic region, a warm welcome to join wherever you may live in Wisconsin. Please note that these sessions will not be recorded! So we hope to SEE YOU there!

These educational events kick-off Wisconsin Women in Conservation, a multi-year program offering local network building, resource connections, workshops/learning circles, field days, and other opportunities. If you can’t make it to these workshops, please go ahead and add your name to the mailing list via the website. We’ll keep posted on future events!
