To celebrate Marieke Gouda's recent move from its Eau Claire store to the Market on River, the Chippewa County Farmers Union is heading to Thorp to see where the proverbial cheese is made. 

Join the Chippewa County Farmers Union for a visit to Penterman Farm, home of Marieke Gouda. We’ll explore the self-guided visitor areas, learn how milk from the family dairy becomes award-winning farmstead Gouda, visit the calves, and have time to stop at the farm store. 

Members, families, and anyone interested in agriculture or Farmers Union are welcome.
