Join us on Saturday, September 20th from 4-6pm for a happy hour, farm tour, and panel discussion about how we can create a Southeastern WI food system that works for all of us–farmers, institutional buyers, food access networks, restaurants, and grocers!
This free, public event, co-hosted by the Milwaukee-Waukesha Wisconsin Farmers Union Chapter, the Milwaukee Food Council, Fondy Food Center, and UW-Extension will take place at Village Farmstead (14020 E Fitzsimmons Rd, Oak Creek, WI 53154) .
We know that often the barrier to bringing local farmers’ products into different markets is one of scale. Aggregation- of products, storage, transportation, and sales- presents one strategy to address this challenge. At this event, we will bring together representatives from different sectors to discuss collaborative aggregation possibilities for our community.
