The Ashland-Bayfield, Barron, Marathon, Taylor-Price, and St. Croix County Chapters of Wisconsin Farmers Union and the Barron, Clark, Lincoln, Marathon, Polk-Burnett, Price, St. Croix, Superior Shores, Taylor, and Wood County Chapters of Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation are set to host a virtual candidate townhall for candidates running in the 7th Congressional District. Candidates Fred Clark and Michael Alfonso have confirmed their attendance. The townhall will take place virtually on Thursday, October 22 from 12-1:30pm.

The event is a non-partisan, informational forum with candidates for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District. Candidates will respond to questions prepared by the Farm Bureau and Farmers Union chapters related to agriculture and rural issues. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit additional questions during the townhall, which may be covered as time allows. 

As this is a non-partisan, 501(c)(3) educational forum, conversation will remain focused on issues important to farmers and rural residents in the 7th Congressional District.
