For over 30 years\, they have been immersed in the study & teaching of food history\, obsessed with the flavors\, techniques\, and stories of the past.Dianna\, a food historian specializing in 18th and 19th-century culinary traditions\, began recreating long-forgotten recipes. To achieve true historical accuracy\, she needed the exact ingredients used by cooks centuries ago. This quest led the couple to start growing heirloom vegetable varieties that dated back to the 18th & 19th century on their urban farm in Midvale\, Utah.In 2016\, family brought Adam & Dianna back to Wisconsin\, where they were both raised. They traded their small urban plots for 20 acres of pasture & crop land in Mishicot. Here\, they breathed new life into a 100-year-old farmhouse and expanded their vision.
