Healing Circle Retreat (Wood-Portage-Waupaca Chapter)

Description

We know that this is a busy, hectic time for farmers. As we are gearing up for the busy harvest season, take a moment to reflect, reconnect, and rest! Re-treat yourself and Re-member what it is you are working and living for at this joyous and uplifting Healing Circle Retreat!  Free for all to attend: includes farm tour, chef-catered, locally sourced dinner, sound bath, and fireside cocoa ceremony. 

The Wood-Portage-Waupaca WFU Chapter is happy to host this event, to offer an evening out to engage with others, while also taking the valuable time to self reflect and assess, set goals and think deeply about one’s life/farm/community journey. 

DATE AND TIME: Sunday, September 27th, 2:30-7:15pm 

LOCATION: Irish Acre Farm, E9657 Manske Rd., New London, WI 54961 

SCHEDULE BELOW:

2:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Arrival & check-in. 

3:15 pm - 4:15 pm: Farm Walk About SHOW & TELL - TASTE & SMELL Tour. 

Hosted by Jane Mulroy. Touring heirloom fruit orchard & greenhouse. (Easy strolling). Includes time for questions. 

4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Sound Bath Presentation. 

Indoor chair circle in Screen Gazebo. 

5:30 pm - 5:45 pm Bathroom break. 

5:45 pm - 6:45 pm: Catered Dinner in Celebration Hall. Meal Catered by Kitchens Brew.

Chef prepared delicious, locally sourced meal.

6:45 pm - 7:15 pm: Fireside Closing CaCao Meditation Ceremony. 

Hosted by Jane Mulroy fireside under the covered fire pit patio & covered picnic pergola & screen gazebo. This entails sipping a hot cocoa drink, listening to meditative music and doing light chair yoga stretching.

Optional Extension - Anyone wishing to stay free / no charge to *glamp for this Sunday night only, is welcome to do so, but there is a limit guest total to 15 persons. 

*Glamorous camp. 

This extra night stay would have to be reserved in advance and agreed to share overnight units. Each person gets their own bed in either the Chicken Coop - Sheep Shed - Pig Palace - or Bovine Barn cabins, or the Fairy Cabin or Hayloft Hideaway.
