Join us for a virtual session cohosted by the Wisconsin Farmers Union and Farm-to-Power that will share information on the proposed Ten Mile Creek solar project in St. Croix county. This Zoom call is intended to provide relevant background and information on Wisconsin's grid and energy policy, water quality information on the Ten Mile project, and what we know about the proposed Joint Development Agreement which can be used to protect community interests. This is a virtual gathering with a lineup of Wisconsin-based, non-industry speakers with time available for audience questions.
Once you register, a link will be sent to you shortly before the event.
You can plan to hear from county staff on modeled water quality impacts of the project, a farmer with active experience grazing sheep on a large-scale solar project in Wisconsin, alongside other speakers familiar with community impacts and experience advocating for community interests.
