Utility-Scale Solar Tour: Point Beach Solar Farm

Description

Is solar coming to your community? Are you curious about large-scale solar sites? Join us to see large-scale solar energy up close! Come along for a one hour tour of NextEra Energy’s Point Beach Solar Farm near Two Rivers. Learn about community impacts and ask questions from professionals who have experience at this and other large-scale sites.

We will be walking, standing, and riding during this tour. Closed-toe shoes are required, steel-toe boots are recommended. Safety gear will be provided (hard hat and eye protection). 

Light snacks and beverages will be provided on-site. Please be mindful of the weather and dress appropriately (sunscreen, hat, etc.)

Time

Please choose ONE of the two tours available. The first tour will start at 10 a.m. and the second tour will start at noon. All tours will last one hour.
